Police have launched a massive manhunt for the killer of 18-year-old Auburn University freshman Lauren Burk.
Burk was found Tuesday night suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Shortly after Burk was taken to the East Alabama Medical Center police received a call about a vehicle fire. Police later determined the car belonged to the Auburn student.
Lauren Burk was from Marietta, Ga. and had been a freshman with the Delta Gamma sorority at Auburn University.
